Ray is a registered Australian and New Zealand Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, having qualified in Australia in 1994.
Prior to joining the patent attorney profession Ray worked for five years in the power generation and mining industries, gaining experience in the design and implementation of control and information systems. He then trained in the field of Intellectual Property whilst working with a Melbourne firm of Patent Attorneys, before joining Watermark in January 1999.
Ray advises both local and overseas clients in relation to the protection of their inventions, in a range of electrical and mechanical technologies. He has particular interests in home electronics and renewal energy systems such as wind turbines. Ray also has extensive experience in trade mark matters, where he assists clients to obtain and protect their brands.
