Robynne was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Newcastle in 1997 and a Bachelor of Laws, also from the University of Newcastle in 1999. She also holds a Masters of Industrial Property from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Robynne was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Courts of New South Wales (in 2000) and Victoria (in 2004) and the High Court of Australia (in 2002) and currently practices as a Solicitor in Victoria.

Prior to joining Watermark, Robynne’s work focused on prescription pharmaceuticals and in particular pharmaceuticals for the treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular conditions and methods of treatment of indicators which lead to cardiovascular disease. Robynne also has experience with pharmaceuticals for use with transplantation and the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical methods of addressing the problem of HAR in xenotransplantation.

As a Solicitor Robynne has worked on various oppositions and Federal Court patent cases relating to pharmaceuticals and, in particular, xenotransplantation. Robynne also has considerable experience drafting licensing, manufacturing and acquisition agreements as well as advising on confidentiality and branding.

She joined the firm in 2005 having worked as a patent attorney and solicitor in Sydney for many years. Robynne currently works on various patent applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical area. Robynne also enjoys working on trade mark disputes and commercialization issues.
